Ghettosocks Listed As One Of Top 25 Greatest Canadian Rappers Ever

If you’ve ever wondered to yourself, “Who are some of the best Canadian rappers ever?”, you’d need look no further then the Droppin’ Science roster in our humble opinion… Ok, ok, all kidding aside, the CBC recently did just that and came up with this list naming the “Top 25 Best Canadian Rappers Ever“. We were thrilled, although not surprised, to see the names of more then a few extended family members and friends make the list, including two of our very own crew.

Droppin’ Science founder and JUNO nominated artist, Ghettosocks, comes in at #24, along with fellow JUNO nominee and Wolves team member, D-Sisive, taking 8th place. Other artists on the list who’ve laced a few bars with Droppin’ Science MCs, include: Maestro Fresh Wes (#1), Classified (#6), Moka Only (#12), Adam Bomb (#15), and Rich Kidd (#16).

While the CBC fully admits that a list such as this one is completely subjective, we’re truly honoured to be acknowledged amongst the other names on the list and to be a part of this Canadian Hip Hop scene. Many thanks to the CBC for the support they’ve shown to our artists and their music over the years; to the college radio DJs across the country who play our shit on the air; to all the writer’s, bloggers and vloggers, who give us hype in print and on the webs; and to all the fans who keep showing us love and support by coming to the shows and buying the music. Respect, fam!
